Julius Caesar

  In July 12th, BC 100, Gaius Julius Caesar was born in Rome, Italy. He looked like not a good person in the play written by William Shakespeare. However, Julius Caesar was an important and great person in the history of the world. He was a general, statesman, and descended from a noble family. He served successive government service in various posts such as a financier and a law officer. He did his works well, and he established the foundation of a statesman. In BC 59, he took office as Consul. He conquered many lands, also he won in many wars. He didn't give up easily and he was brave. Also, he left a lot of famous saying. One of famous saying of Julius Caesar is "Veni, Vidi, Vici" ("I came, I saw, I conquered."). This famous saying showed that he was a great and brave conqueror. In 49 BC, Pompey was jealous of Julius Caesar, so he ordered that Caesar disband his army and come back to Rome. So, Caesar fought with the opposing party, and then he won. In BC 44, he became a dictator. In March 15th, BC 44, Julius Caesar was killed by Marcus Junius.

A Midsummer Night's Dream, By William Shakespeare

  Egeus who is Hermia's father wanted that his daughter would marry with Demetrius, but Hermia already loved with Lysander. Her father opposed a marriage with Lysander, so Hermia and Lysander ran away to the forest. Demetrius and Helena followed them. Demetrius loved Hermia, and Helena loved Demetrius. This time, Oberon and Titania who are a king and a queen of fairies had a fight. Oberon was mad, so he made Puck who is a servant of him plucked the flower and dropped it to Titania's eyes. This flower had a power that made people to fell in love. After Titania woke up, she fall in love with Nick Bottom who is an actor. Bottom had an image of  a donkey by Puck's prank. Meanwhile, Oberon heard a dialogue between Demetrius and Helena. He thought Helena was poor, so he made Puck would drop the flower to Demetrius' eyes. But Puck made a mistake that dropped flower to Lysander's eyes, so he dropped the flower to Demetrius' eyes again. Therefore, two men loved Helena at the same time. Helena thought they insulted her. After Oberon knew these happenings, he tried to make Helena and Demetrius loved each other, and Lysander and Helena loved each other again. The end of this story, all problems were solved. They married with a person who they wanted, and Oberon removed magic from Titania and they made peace with each other. Everyone lived peacefully and happily ever after.

About myself.

  I am from South Korea. I went to the United States before 2years 6months ago. I learned English at school before I went to the United States, but I learned very simple and easy words and sentences such as "How are you? or "What color do you like?". So I didn't learn about grammar in Korea. After I went to the U.S., I learned English in ESL class in John Burroughs Middle School. I graduated J.B.M.S. 6 months ago and I am learning English at Fairfax High School now. I got A in his class last semester. I feel difficult when I speak to English. So I am afraid to tell something to many people. But I am will overcome this problem. However, English is hard to me now. I am going to write about basic information about me. I am a girl. My birthday is October 14th. I am 9th grade in Fairfax Highschool. I like to listen to music, watching movies, and meeting my friends. I think I was happy when I watched movies. I like scary movies, and animations. My favorite color is purple. I like to eat sweet foods. I love chocolate, fruits, milk, cookies, cakes, and ice cream, but I don't like vegetables except carrots, tomatoes, potatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce. My mom worried about my health, so my mom made vegetable juice for me everyday. I have one older sister, she is a 10th grade student in Fairfax High School. She is nice sister.
